That’s why I’ve doubled down on a methodical process that de-risks the leadership hire you want to make, and you pay a flat fee for my expertise and time, not for the candidate.

Discovery

It all starts with a conversation. What are the problems or goals you want to address with this AI, Data or Tech Leader? What does this leadership hire solve within the business?

Counterintuitively, not every problem can be solved with a hire. Think of this as a free consultancy call focused on solving the reason why you wanted to reach out in the first place. If a hire isn’t the answer, I’ll be upfront and point you in the right direction.

OM WISER

Once we’ve locked in a project, it’s time to put my diagnostic framework into action.

A part of the Talos philosophy is that if you get the hiring brief wrong, all the work you do from that brief will be wrong as well.

OM-WISER solves that problem with a structured qualitative research process that analyses every relevant factor and creates a brief that informs the entire hiring process and assessment criteria. You can find out more about OM-WISER here.

Optimised Hiring

Now that the OM-WISER framework is completed, it tells us who to target, what to sell them on and how to assess and benchmark them against other candidates. Everything is optimised so that the successful hire will bring value to the organisation’s AI, Data or Tech functions, enabling these functions to do what they are meant to: act as a force multiplier for the business.

I'm not going to hide the price - it'll be between 10-30k. No bias in the process, no sudden increases because you want to pay the candidate a better salary to get top talent.

Searching for a new Job, especially as a Data, AI or Tech Leader, can be challenging. How do you ensure your application gets seen amongst a sea of (mostly unsuitable) candidates? Deep Dive 

Once we have the ‘brief’ for your search, we delve into the details. I want to collect as much ‘Data’ as I can about your background and achievements by completing what I call a ‘CV Deep Dive’.

This will either be in relation to a project I’m working on (which will be very in-depth) or a more general session that arms me with the ‘ammo’ to make introductions and better match you to search projects.

I also combine this with CV reviews to assess the best ways to present your experiences to achieve your search goals. 

Optimised Searching

I can’t place everyone I work with, because of my focus on quality, I only work on two projects at a time. I’m not a volume recruiter, so there is an upper limit (for now) on the number of matches to projects I can provide.

That’s why I have included optimised searching as a section. If I can’t help you directly with inclusion in a search project I’m running, I want to help you optimise your search so you are in the best position to navigate the market. 

I do this through deep dives, CV reviews, career strategy sessions, crafting market propositions, outreach/engagement, improving interview technique, and presenting other opportunities (speaking engagements, etc.). 

Also, if I know a company is hiring, and I can’t work with them (max capacity or agency blockages), then I’ll recommend you directly. I want to help you get hired. That’s the goal. 

Here to help you get hired

I work for a flat fee. Companies pay for my time and expertise, not a percentage of your salary (how most recruitment fees are calculated). This ensures my clients won’t ever have to deliberate paying me a higher fee to offer you a higher salary.
